Vabi Elements Introductory Training
This one-day training session provides an introduction to the use of the Vabi Elements software and an overview of the philosophy behind it. For consultants, the direct benefits include a clear overview of building performance throughout the design process, and the time savings delivered by effective use of the technology.
Audience
This introductory training with Vabi Elements is intended for building service engineers, architects, consultants and project managers involved in the design and performance of buildings.
Pre-requisites
The course is intended for those with a basic background or training in building physics or building services. As this is an introductory course in Vabi Elements, you do not need to be familiar with the software. The session covers the calculation methodology but does not provide an in-depth study of the calculation details. More specific calculation-based training can be found in our Advanced Dynamic Simulation Modelling and Heating and Cooling Curve courses.
Objective
After this training you will be able to undertake building performance calculations with Vabi Elements, including importing/drawing building geometry, specifying construction details and building services, running calculations and generating performance-based 3D models and other calculation reports.
Topics covered
